This was a toughie, as I don't generally slander any moment's leisure watching things I won't like. If I think I'll hate it, I won't watch it.
But I came up with one show that I have seen bits of and definitely hate: South Park. It's vulgar, obscene, profane, and I regret seeing what little I have seen of it.

Agree or disagree? That is the question...

Amen. Hate hate hate South Park. Family Guy is right up there too, for the exact same reasons. I find both shows incredibly offensive.
ReplyDeleteI agree and with Family Guy... Yuck! I want to add Seinfeld to my list, despise it and the entire cast of King of Queens. The show's alright but I just hate the characters, started feeling that way when I was preg with Kaiya.
ReplyDeleteI've never had the misfortune to watch an ep of Family Guy, though one of the characters (a freaky baby thing) was in an ep of Bones once.
ReplyDeleteWhat's with the hatred of Seinfeld, though? Both of you, Deb and Julie, can't stand it, but I think it's hilarious. I love the way they find the humor in everyday situations, and also take normal things to their most bizarre possible outcome. Okay, most Kramer just makes me laugh a lot, but I do find the writing insightful.
I’ve always found South Park very hit & miss. Some episodes try too hard to be offensive, while others are entirely based on a single repeated joke that feels like a bad comedian testing his microphone because his audience isn’t laughing. If you persevere, every now and then you get a great episode.
