"The Quick and the Dead" Soundtrack Guest Post

I've got a new soundtrack post up here today on James' blog.  It's for a recent favorite soundtrack of mine, Alan Silvestri's The Quick and the Dead (1995).  I've been listening to it a lot lately while writing my western version of "Sleeping Beauty."  I've dug the movie for years, but only got the soundtrack a few months ago, and it is delicious :-9  Enjoy!

  1. Randomly--what do you think of the new Star Wars trailer? (Yes, I know I'm obsessed :) )

    1. I think that the snippet of Han holding a weeping Leia makes me very worried.

    2. I know :( I'm also worried over that clip of Rey crying beside the motionless body of someone who looks a lot like Finn. Seriously, I don't want Finn to die. And if he DOES die I'm afraid they'll try and make Rey get together with Poe Dameron instead, and that Just. Will. Not. Work. I'm sorry. It won't work. Hopefully they've got more sense than that.

I'm really, really excited about Rey in general, though--she looks awesome :) And seeing R2-D2 again has made me SOOOOOOOO happy.

    3. I have to admit I'm kind of keeping a distance from a lot of info on this one -- I've watched the trailers and read a few things in Entertainment Weekly, but I'm trying to view it as freshly as I can, if that makes sense. My loyalties are all with Han, Leia, and Luke, and everyone else -- I'll see what I think of them when I see the movie :-)

Agree or disagree? That is the question...
