I'm still sad that it's ending. :(
ReplyDeleteMe too, Eva. It's been a lot of fun.
DeleteI'm glad you encouraged me to write for Femnista all those years ago! It's been fun. <3
ReplyDeleteKatie, I am too! It's been so nice having you as a co-contributor.
DeleteI share many of the same memories and experiences of this movie with you! I was the same age when my family went to see this in the theater and a couple of years later when my aunt finally got her baby girl, she named her Jessica because of this movie. I love the soundtrack and still listen to it all the time and also own the sheet music. I spent hours practicing Fur Elise and Jessica's Theme. At one point for several months, one of my male cousins walked around with a bullwhip and hat pretending he was Jim. And every time we watched the movie together, he would speak the lines right before the actors. Highly annoying! In any case, this film is woven into the fabric of my life memories.
ReplyDeleteBrittaney, that's so cool! I played Fur Elise and the movie's main theme so often on the piano, I memorized them. And, although I've never found a hat that truly matches Jim's, I did buy a bullwhip and learn to crack it. Sorta.
DeleteI love how you said this: this film is woven into the fabric of my life memories. That is exactly how it is for me.
Thanks for being a loyal participant for so many years! I've enjoyed having you. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for having me, Charity! It's been jolly :-)
