Sibling Movie Poster Game

Let's get the second party game started :-)  This time, I've given you 12 posters from movies about siblings.  But I have removed their titles!  Your job?  Supply the titles, of course.  Put your guesses in a comment, and I'll post the answers and your scores at the end of the week.

And, of course, googling for things is kinda cheating, so... try to restrain yourself ;-)

    1. Heather, really close on Rio Bravo because that does have both John Wayne and Dean Martin in it -- but it isn't about brothers, and this is actually the poster for The Sons of Katie Elder instead :-)

I can see how you would get the titles for Deliverance and Defiance mixed up! You're the only person who even got close on that one!

    1. CLM, well, westerns ARE my thing, but I figure at least the two Disney frontier/westerns here would be pretty widely known ;-) Go ahead and make guesses!

    1. Beth, nice guess on #10 being a James Bond movie, but nope, it's Defiance, a true story about four brothers during WWII who built a hidden community for Polish Jews in the middle of a forest. But that IS Daniel Craig on the poster :-)

(Have to disagree with you on which version if Sabrina is best, though.)

  9. 1. Apple Dumpling Gang? I didn't know that was about siblings!
    2. Meet Me in St. Louis!!! Ack!! I should've written about THAT movie for this party!
    3. Sense and Sensibility. <3
    4. Sons of Katie Elder
    5. Swiss Family Robinson! Ack, I love the dynamics for those brothers SO MUCH
    6. ... Tombstone?
    7. White Christmas
    8. Jurassic Park. I wouldn't have thought of the siblings in here, but yeah!
    9. The Parent Trap
    10. No clue. XD
    11. Sabrina! I'm surprised you didn't put a picture from your favorite version!

    1. Chloe, well, save your Meet Me in St. Louis thoughts for next year because I think next year's theme will be We Love Musicals!!!!

I didn't use my favorite Sabrina because the poster for it only has Linus on it and I wanted one that showed the brothers, so I went with the old version. I also infinitely prefer the original Parent Trap but used the newer one because I had a hard time finding posters for the original that I could clip the words out of easily.

    2. Chloe, I forgot to say that yip, the original Apple Dumpling Gang movie is about 3 orphans -- that's them in the blog button I used for this post!

    6. Reminds me of The Three Musketeers LOL Looks good
    8. Jurassic Park
    9. I'm sure I know this movie, but not so sure of the title. Parent Trap perhaps? It's kind of like The Prince and the Pauper
    12. Old Yeller

    1. Roxann, you did pretty well, considering! The one that reminded you of The Three Musketeers is actually Tombstone <3
