Vines, Leaves, and Fruit -- Article at Blest the House

I've written a new article for the Lutheran homeschooling blog Blest the House!  In it, I talk about how trimming our grape vines gave me some insight into curriculum choices.  You can read the article here.

  1. I want to mention a book that is to come out in OCTOBER. It is titled THE BOYS: A MEMOIR OF HOLLYWOOD AND FAMILY. The authors are RON HOWARD & CLINT HOWARD. Of course, Ron is known for THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW and HAPPY DAYS. Clint was on the drama series GENTLE BEN (about a bear). P.S. Ron and his wife CHERYL have been married since 1976-for 46 years! CLASSIC TV FAN

    1. That's really cool! I'm such a fan of Ron Howard in particular, but also Clint -- I love seeing him pop up in things, like as a DJ in That Thing You Do!, a NASA guy in Apollo 13, and so on. And, of course, who can forget him as the peanut-butter-and-jelly-loving little cowpoke Leon on The Andy Griffith Show? :-D I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for their memoir. Thanks for the heads-up!

  2. I haven't had much luck the last couple of weeks with anyone answering my posts. I thought you would want to know the information because you have written about THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW. I think it is interesting to find out who has written a book even if I don't plan on reading it. CLASSIC TV FAN

    1. Classic TV Fan, aww, that's a bummer! But, you know... people tend to be outside and offline more in the summer, so that's probably it?

Me, I only manage to answer comments every few days anymore, so don't feel bad -- I just answered a bunch of comments from almost a week ago. Real life comes first ;-)

Agree or disagree? That is the question...
