I'm not even kidding. This is hilarious and brilliant and I love it. Thank you, Eva, for linking me to it! It's such a perfect mashup of The Greatest Showman and the tempestuous brotherly relationship between Thor and Loki. Good, good stuff.

That. Was. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteJessica, Yes. It. Is.
DeleteI love this!
ReplyDeleteSkye, I hoped you would! Isn't it just clever and perfect?
DeleteThis was perfect. I literally just watched both movies for the first time this past week. Thor, twice, I loved it, it just really hit the spot, I'm really picky and just found it, I don't know, refreshing.
ReplyDeleteThe Greatest Showman was more of a one time thing, although I'll probably listen to the music (or covers anyway, not super thrilled about all the singing voices).
Livia, what great timing! Was it Thor: Ragnarok that you just watched? Cuz that is one of my favorite movies now. Can't get enough of its joyful shenanigans.
DeleteYes, it was. I had a free Netflix trial and was bummed with the choices, then Ragnarok got added, and I watched it and laughed and laughed (when I'd seen the preview last year I was so mad, but it was just the thing for my mood). And then I got it from the library and watched it with my family that same week. Thor and the Thor movies have always been on the top for me, but I wasn't expecting to like this, but I loved it.
DeleteLivia, it was REALLY different, so I went in not sure if I would like it either, aside from it having Thor, who's always been my favorite (strongest) Avenger. But it wound up being my favorite new-to-me movie of 2017! Just such a joyful romp with some deep emotions I didn't expect.

Lilah, are you wordless in a good way? I know the first time I watched it, I laughed so hard I got tears in my eyes. In the best way possible.
DeleteThat was beautiful!
ReplyDeleteKendra, I agree! So well put together.
DeleteOh my gosh, yes! Coincidentally, I just watched Rangarok for the first time a couple days ago, and I really enjoyed it! I mean, I love Loki. Like a lot . . .
ReplyDeleteAlso, though, I've been realizing how cool Thor himself is. Like he's just a solid Avenger, I feel like. *nods*
I'm happy we have Ragnarok to fall back on after the trauma of Infinity War. :-P
ANYWAY, bunny trail . . . this was awesome!! :D
Olivia, YAY! Ragnarok is one of my 2 top favorite MCU movies. Just adore it. I finally am able to actually, truly like Loki, which I have long wanted to but never could because of how he treats Thor, but yup, by the end of that one, I like him.
DeleteAnd Thor is cool. It's just true. Goofy, yes, but cool and dependable and kind and helpful and smarter than most people want to believe. (Which I get, cuz it's not fair for someone to be gorgeous, ageless, incredibly strong, AND intelligent.)
Bunny trail of my own :-D Glad you enjoyed this!
Oh my goodness, THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS!!! This was so amazing and hilarious and fun.
ReplyDeleteI watched Thor: Ragnarok for the first time a few weeks ago, and I absolutely loved it! It's easily my favorite MCU film of the ones I've seen so far. I LOVE Loki, and he was so much fun in this film. <3 And then I saw The Greatest Showman a couple of nights ago for the first time, and I've been listening to the soundtrack on repeat since then! So, this mashup of two amazing films was just what I needed. I think I'll be rewatching it often! ;P
Molly Rebekah, I'm glad you got such a kick out of it! It's just a perfect mashup, isn't it? I rewatch it a lot, myself :-D
