Well, I did it. I signed up for NaNoWriMo. Gaaaaaaaaah! I'm insane!
Betcha can't guess what my username is over there ;-)

Agree or disagree? That is the question...

So have you signed up yet? If so, what's your id? I wanna check out your user profile!
ReplyDeleteI'm signed up from last year, but I can't seem to access my profile to update it. I'm signed up as Fencer (yes, I was on my second year of studying fencing at that point and Thompsons hadn't yet replaced sabres as weapon of choice! - speaking of that, I just found out my dad had to learn to handle the B.A.R. while he was in the army. Way cool!) I currently get no login box or sign up box at all when I go to the nanowrimo site. Not sure what's going on or what I'm doing wrong.
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah, the NaNoWriMo server is down until Tuesday. I guess too many of us newbie Nanites signed up on Saturday and killed their server...
ReplyDeleteHow awesome that your dad learned to handle the BAR! Does that make him appreciate Kirby? ;-)
Ah, that's why I couldn't get on! Ok, glad it's not me.
ReplyDeleteI think my dad's latched onto Saunders, actually. Intelligence always appeals to my dad. He was really impressed with him in "Long Way Home" and even in "Masquerade," he was enjoying watching Saunders figure things out. He got really pissed at Hanley for dismissing Saunders's worries. It's too funny.
About the B.A.R., I couldn't get much detail out of him (and I tried!), other than it was an incredibly loud weapon to shoot.
The site's pretty much back up and running now. I managed to edit my profile this morning.
ReplyDeleteOooh, another new Saunders fan! Hooray! Can always use more of them around.
I think I remember reading that Jack Hogan complained about the loudness of the BAR too...
