Well, boy howdy. How cool is this?

That, my friends, is the title page image for my story.  So when you open up Five Magic Spindles, at the beginning of my story, you'll be treated to this image!  If you're on Facebook, you can see the pictures for the other four stories here.  They're all so cool!  But I like mine best, which is as it should be, I suppose.  I mean, mine has a cowboy AND a horse, and what could be better than that?

  7. THAT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Seriously, I LOVE it! Did you get to have any part in designing it? It looks a lot "like" you :-)

    1. Jessica, nope, I had no part in designing it. Other than writing a western about a guy on a buckskin horse, of course. But the design was a total surprise to me. And it fits the story so perfectly -- all old-fashioned and classic, but a wee bit quirky (that swoopy 'R' in particular).

    2. YES. I love it! I only hope that when I get one of my stories published someday, it will have just as good a cover :-)

  9. *gasps* Your story has a cover now! How exciting! And it's rather delightful, if I do say so myself. :) I love that you did a western Sleeping Beauty retelling. So creative!

I look forward to reading this when it comes out!

BTW, I loaned my copy of Five Enchanted Roses to a friend, and she liked "The Wulver's Rose" best too :-D
