"Conspiracy Theory" Soundtrack Review

I've got another soundtrack review up here on James' blog.  This time it's for Conspiracy Theory (1997), one of my favorite action movies.  I first saw it as a freshman in college, and bought the soundtrack the following summer.  I used to listen to a couple of my favorite tracks to psych myself up to go job-hunting, and later to boost my energy before heading off to the job I'd acquired as a Walmart cashier.  That summer and this album are insolubly linked for me as a result.

    1. Emma, YES! Much fainting. Mel Gibson is wonderful in this -- in need of many hugs. I totally recommend this movie -- there's a little bad language and a semi-scary torture scene, but no sex, nothing suggestive at all. It's beautiful.

  2. I should listen to this sometime--seeing as how I'm taking a conspiracy theories class right now :)

    1. Jessica, that would be so appropriate! As would the movie as a whole, given the subject matter. I should review it here some time -- it's been a long time since I watched it.

  3. Such a great movie! I haven't seen it in a long time, but I should really buy that one now that I'm building my own video library (I tend to rely a lot on my parents donations and online availability for movies, but it's getting better bit by bit). I haven't heard the soundtrack without the movie before; I'll have to try it out.

    1. Hannah, yes! I love it dearly. I bought it for only $5, but that was a while ago -- I hope you can find it for your own library!

Agree or disagree? That is the question...
