The Final "Femnista" Issue for 2015

I completely forgot to post about the new issue being out!  Ugh, this has been such a weird month -- I have FOUR to-do lists going right now, and I'm still forgetting things.  Well, anyway, it's out!  You can read it online here or download it as a PDF file here.  I wrote about Ever After (1998), one of my favorite retellings of the "Cinderella" story.  Happy reading!

  1. I just read Femnista online--I loved it!! Your Ever After article is beautiful! (Can you leave comments? I didn't think you could. I wanted to be able to tell Charity Bishop that her two pieces were AMAZING but I wasn't sure how to get in touch.)

    1. Thanks, Jessica! I'm so glad you enjoyed the article and whole issue. There's no good way to leave comments on the magazine, but one of the last pages lists all the writers and links to any blogs or websites they have. You can leave them feedback on their own sites. Charity's is here :-)

    2. Thanks, I'll have to try that :)

Rosie and I are going to see our favorite Broadway musical--Newsies--this afternoon and we are FREAKING OUT. I can't wait :)

    4. It was! It was absolutely FANTASTIC! We're both so thrilled and grateful that we got to go. It was one of the most experiences I've ever had. And the guy who played Jack Kelly was EPIC. The whole cast was epic, come to think of it.

Rosie and me actually are writing a guest post about it for Naomi's blog--so keep an eye out for it ;)

    5. I'm so glad it was everything you were hoping for! It sounds delightful. I look forward to reading about it on Naomi's blog! When I emerge from my "I don't have time for reading blogs" hibernation, that is.

  2. What a great read! Loved Ever After & enjoyed your review. I read The Agony & the Ecstacy many years ago & have wanted to read it again - maybe next year.

    1. Thanks, Carol! I'm glad you enjoyed it :-) I've never read The Agony and the Ecstasy, but I've long wanted to see the movie because I really like Charlton Heston.

    1. Thanks, Emma Jane! I felt like highlighting two of my Christmas-time movies, and two ornaments from my own tree :-) It was fast and easy!

Agree or disagree? That is the question...
